The European Youth Parliament is a unique educational program run by a network of independent, non-profit, and non-partisan organisations distributed across 40 different European countries.
Today the EYP, with almost 600 events organised every year, involving 35'000 participants, is one of the largest European platforms for political debate, intercultural encounters, European civic education, and the exchange of ideas among young people in Europe. Our mission is to inspire and empower young Europeans to become open-minded, tolerant, and active citizens.
The EYP is a program for young people, run entirely by young people. All across Europe, youngsters aged 16-25 organise simulated parliamentary sessions in which they address their discussion on relevant issues that the European Union is currently facing.
The European Youth Parliament AL is a non-profit organisation formed in 2007 with the aim to instill European values among Albanian youngsters and serve as a bridge toward European integration.
After over a decade and over 50 small and large scale events, we still stand true to our values and continue working tirelessly to expand our influence and promote active European citizenship.
The Albanian National Committee is run by a democratically-elected board of young individuals on a one-year term, contributing in areas such as increasing the quality of the sessions within Albania, establishing a strong international image of the NC, making sure that all initiatives and suggestions are welcomed and the legal and procedural well-functioning of the organisation as a whole.
